The “Berliner Theatertreffen” event takes place from 3 to 19 May 2024.

The event is a festival for theatre professionals, journalists and guests from all over the world. A wide range of genres are represented: from dance to puppet theatre, from musical theatre to readings. Fans and friends of the theatre can look forward to a varied and inspiring fringe programme. The 10 selected productions are the festival’s core: Ten remarkable productions are selected each year by an indipendent jury of critics from among around 400 shows within the German-language region and the viewing period. The ten productions will now be shown at the Theatertreffen in the Haus der Berliner Festspiele and other venues throughout the city.
